Do group members need their own gmCalSync accounts?
No. A member opens your join link, enters their email address, and receives their own private calendar subscription URL. They never create an account, set a password, or connect GroupMe.
How is a group plan priced?
By the number of people in the GroupMe group. gmCalSync reads the group's real member count when you subscribe and matches it to a tier, and each tier includes a set number of member calendars.
Can I approve members before they get the calendar?
Yes. Turn on approval and every request waits for you. You see who asked, approve the ones who belong, and gmCalSync emails them their calendar link automatically.
What if the join link gets shared outside my group?
Rotate it. A new link is generated instantly and the old one stops working for new subscribers. Members who already have the calendar keep it, and you can block any individual member separately.
Can I remove someone's access later?
Yes. Blocking a member stops their calendar from receiving new events, and it frees up their seat for someone else. Events already on their calendar are not deleted.
Does everyone see my RSVP status?
No. Member calendars carry the group's events only. Personal attendance status stays on your own feed.
