How the export works
GroupMe provides no built-in export or calendar sync. gmCalSync reads the events in a group you connect and publishes them as an iCal feed at a private, unlisted URL.
Unlike a one-time .ics download, a subscription stays linked to the feed. Events added or edited in GroupMe reach your calendar on its next refresh with no second export.
