New \u2014 one calendar, every group

In a lot of GroupMe groups? Put them all on one calendar.

Merge up to 25 of your GroupMe groups into a single private calendar link. Add that one link to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook instead of subscribing group by group \u2014 and every event still shows which group it came from.

One link, not ten

Set it up once and add a single subscription on every device, however many groups you belong to.

Labeled by group

Events arrive as “Northside Soccer: Practice”. Use the group name, your own short label, or no prefix at all.

New groups fold in

Groups you join later can be added automatically, up to the 25-group limit. Your per-group links keep working either way.

One subscription, whole roster

Run a team, chapter, or club? Get everyone on the calendar at once.

With a gmCalSync group plan, the person who runs the group subscribes once and shares a single join link. Each member enters their email and gets their own private calendar subscription — no account, no GroupMe connection, and nothing for them to pay.

Members need no account

They enter an email and get a calendar link. No password, no GroupMe permission to grant, no card to enter.

You stay in control

Approve members before links go out, block anyone who shouldn't have the calendar, and rotate the join link anytime.

Priced by group size

Tiers follow your GroupMe group's real member count, so a 20-person team isn't paying like a 300-person chapter. From $8/month or $48/year, billed monthly or yearly.

Troubleshooting guide

FAQ

Can I sync multiple GroupMe groups into my calendar?

Yes, two ways. Each GroupMe group gets its own private calendar feed so you can subscribe to the ones you want, or you can merge up to 25 groups into a single combined calendar link and add just that one.

Can I combine all my GroupMe groups into one calendar?

Yes. Turn on “One calendar for all my groups” on your Groups page, pick up to 25 groups, and you get one private iCal link that carries every group’s events — one subscription instead of one per group.

In a combined calendar, how do I tell which group an event is from?

Every event is prefixed with a label. By default that’s the GroupMe group’s name — “Northside Soccer: Practice” — and you can swap in your own short label per group or turn prefixes off.

Does the combined calendar replace my per-group links?

No. It sits alongside them. Your per-group feeds keep working, and turning the combined calendar off later doesn’t affect them.

Does this work with Google Calendar on iPhone?

Yes. Once you subscribe in Google Calendar, it will appear in the Google Calendar app on iPhone and Android.

How often does it update?

Calendar apps refresh subscription feeds on their own schedule. Most refresh every few hours, and you can manually refresh in some apps.

Is it read-only?

Your calendar link is read-only — we never edit your calendar. A message is posted to GroupMe only when you choose to share a calendar link with your group.

What if someone edits an event in GroupMe?

Edits in GroupMe automatically appear in your subscribed calendar after the next refresh cycle.

Why don’t I see changes right away?

Subscription calendars are cached by Google, Apple, and Outlook. Refresh delays are normal and depend on the app.

Can I remove or unsubscribe later?

Absolutely. You can unsubscribe from any calendar in your calendar app or rotate your private link at any time.

Is my GroupMe data secure?

We read your GroupMe events to generate calendar feeds, and only post a message when you tap Post to GroupMe. We don't sell your data.
